GPA: 2.67 overall or 2.75 in last 60 semester units or 90 quarter units

Program Admissions Packets
Step 1: Application to Division of Graduate Studies
You must first apply to the university through the Division of Graduate Studies. If you are a US resident follow the Domestic Students procedure. If you are a non-US resident follow the International Students procedure.
The application process takes multiple steps. The easiest way to apply is to download and carefully read the Multiple Subject Credential Program General Information packet.
Step 2: Confirm Admission Status of University Application
After submitting your applications to the Division of Graduate Studies online through Cal State Apply you can confirm your admission status on your SF State Gateway account.
Step 3: Application to Elementary Education Department
You must also apply directly to the specified department within the Graduate College of Education for this program.
Step 4: Confirm Status of Application
Faculty will interview applicants with complete applications who meet minimum qualifications and program expectations. If selected for an interview, applicants will be notified by mail 2 to 3 weeks after the application deadline. Applicants will be notified by mail of the admission decision 2 to 3 weeks after the interview. There will be a mandatory orientation in May for applicants who are recommended admission for Fall and the first week of January for those who are recommended admission for Spring.
