Applications for Fall semester admission are due November 30 one year before your intended starting semester.
This program accepts applicants for Fall admission only.
First-time Freshman Applicants
High school graduate or equivalent
Complete the required high school courses with grades of "C-" or better
Taken SAT or ACT test
Meets or exceeds the minimum eligibility index for CSU admissions
This program also accepts upper-division transfer, international, and other students. Requirements vary depending on what type of applicant you are. Go to SF State Future Students for details on admission to the university.
How to Apply
Step 1: Application to SF State University
You must apply to the university through the online application system CSU Mentor. For additional information on admission at SF State go to the SF State Future Students website.
Step 2: Confirm Admission Status
After submitting your applications you can confirm your admission status on your SF State Gateway account.
