Program Offering:
This is a collaborative program offered by San Francisco State University (SFSU) & South China Normal University (SCNU) with support from the Confucius Institute. Students are accepted into Fall Cohorts and they will attend their first semester at SCNU in Guangzhou, China followed by three semesters at the Graduate College of Education at SFSU in San Francisco, CA. With a focus on Chinese International Students with B.A. degrees, this program consists of 42 units, distributed among four semesters. At the end of this program, students will earn the M.A. Degree in Education, Concentration in Special Interest and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Chinese from San Francisco State University. Graduates will be well qualified to teach in 45 states in the U.S. and throughout the world.
