The Graduate College of Education (GCOE) proudly hosted the Dia de la familia: Juntos explorando la universidad y carreras en educación (Day of the family: together exploring the university and careers in education) on April 28, 2018 for high school and community college students and their families.
Through a generous gift from Chris Larsen and Lyna Lam, the GCOE is launching innovative solutions to address the shortages and need for a diverse pool of educators.
On November 6, over 170 undergraduate students attended the GCOE EduCorps: Celebrating Educators at SF State. Each student in attendance was nominated by a professor or advisor who saw qualities of a future educator in that student. Speakers included alumni who are educator leaders throughout the SF Bay Area.
