Nancy B. Robinson, Ph.D., CCC-SLP is Professor Emerita in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences. She began her appointment at SF State in 2002 and retired in 2019.  During her tenure at SF State, she has served as a faculty member, program director, interim department chair, associate dean and interim dean.

Dr. Robinson continues to work with Dr. Gloria Soto as Co-Director of Project AAC for ALL, a grant funded by the USDOE/Office of Special Education Programs designed to prepare SLPs and Special Educators to provide AAC services with children and youth with diverse cultures and languages. Through a series of USDOE/OSEP personnel preparation grants, Drs. Robinson and Soto developed graduate specialization in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) that includes the SF State Graduate Certificate in AAC.
