Authorizes the holder to assess student reading and to provide instruction in response to assessments.
In addition, the holder is authorized to develop, implement and adapt reading and content curriculum, and to assist classroom teachers in these areas. Services are typically performed at one or more school sites and at the grade level authorized by the holder’s requisite credential. This is a 15-unit program and all units may be applied toward the Reading and Literacy Leadership Specialist Credential and the M.A. in Education, Concentration in Language and Literacy.
