This credential authorizes the holder to serve as a superintendent, deputy superintendent, principal, assistant principal, supervisor, consultant, coordinator, or in other equivalent or intermediate level positions. It may be earned concurrently with the MA in Education concentration in Educational Administration.
A valid basic California teaching credential or pupil personnel services credential, health services credential, or library services credential or designated subjects credential with a baccalaureate degree, or Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential.
If taken concurrently with MA in Education concentration in Educational Administration the following additional requirements apply:
Baccalaureate degree from a recognized/accredited institution
Minimum 3.0 grade point average in last 60 credit units attempted
Department evaluators may request to interview applicants when deemed necessary
