Orthopedically Impaired Added Authorization

This authorization allows graduates to work with students with orthodepic impairments particularly with a focus on Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

 

Program Requirements

  • Preliminary or Clear Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Deaf/Hard of Hearing, Early Childhood Special Education, Mild-Moderate Disabilities, Moderate-Severe Disabilities, or Visual Impairments

  • Baccalaureate degree from a recognized institution

  • 3.0 grade point average in last 60 credit units attempted
