Last week, the New York City Board of Education announced the launch of the Hidden Voices: Stories of the Global African Diaspora curriculum. The curriculum comprises two core volumes of materials and lesson plans serving Pre-K through 12th grades. It also includes a series of print and digital ancillary materials including Lukasa – a series of graphic representations of African and diasporic histories and Jali – a series of graphic  representations of African and diasporic literature. This is wonderful work, impactful for students, families, and communities. Congratulations Trevor and colleagues on this accomplishment!
