Melissa Omahony

Melissa is a lecturer of Early Childhood Special Education in the Department of Special Education. Her primary teaching responsibilities include courses related to family systems and services, curriculum, and leadership. She also is an advisor in the Early Childhood Special Education Graduate program and is a supervisor for student teachers. Outside of SFSU, she is a full time Assistant Director and Inclusion Specialist at a preschool in S.F. She is from San Francisco and spent her high school years in Mill Valley. She has a B.A. in Young Child Development and an M.A. and Credential in Early Childhood Special Education, both from San Francisco State University.
